The founder of Tabono Law, Shon A. Cook now focuses her practice on divorce and other family law matters. From her firm's office in Muskegon, Michigan, she provides advice and counsel to clients throughout Western Michigan, including Allegan, Kent, Muskegon, Oceana, Newaygo, Mason and Manistee County. Admitted to practice before all Michigan state courts since 1994, Ms. Cook is also admitted to practice in Iowa, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan, and the United States Supreme Court.  Shon often refers to herself as the "Good Witch of the Law,", promoting the power of the law in the best possible ways, for her clients.

While Ms. Cook loves all areas of family law, she is a force in large asset and complicated divorce and family law actions.  She handles all stages of family law matters, whether it is preparing a prenuptial agreement, planning a divorce/separation, mediating before divorce or after, or litigating family law actions or post-judgment.  She also is a trained mediator and a trained collaborative law attorney and brings years of experience to litigation, negotiation and mediation tactics. Shon is a savvy attorney that works hard for all of her clients.

A member of several professional organizations, Ms. Cook is frequently asked to train and educate fellow attorneys throughout the State of Michigan on family law issues.
