Kelly, a partner in the firm, focuses her practice on all aspects of family law, including divorce, child custody and support issues, paternity, parenting time disputes, and spousal support modifications. In particular she handles high-conflict family law matters for professionals, including matters with difficult personalities, mental health, substance abuse and special needs children. Ms. Kelly is active in several organizations, including serving as a Past President for the Women's Bar Association of Oakland County and Past President of the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan.
She is also a member of the Wayne County Family Law Bar Association and Northville’s Main Street League along with the Oakland County Bar Association. She engages actively in her local community and is a Girl Scout leader.
Ms. Kelly has been a speaker at ICLE's Family Law Institute on numerous occasions and in 2012 received a certificate of completion from the Family Law Certificate Program. Topics of her presentations have included Divorce Practice and Procedure, Divorce Checklists, Ex Parte and Interim Orders, Prenuptial Agreements and Vocational Experts, Talking to your Children about divorce, subpoenas and discovery. She was recently appointed to serve on the Institute of Continuing Legal Education's Executive Committe.
Her achievements have been noted by "Super Lawyers Magazine" in naming her as a Michigan Rising Star ten times (2010, 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023) and in 2024 and 2025 was named a Super Lawyer. In 2014 and from 2019-2025 she was named as one of the Top Lawyers in Michigan for the area of family law by "dBusiness" magazine.
