Mr. Gumina graduated summa cum laude from Aquinas College, earning All-American and Academic All-American honors as a student-athlete while majoring in history. He earned his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2010.
During law school, he clerked for Justice Elizabeth Weaver of the Michigan Supreme Court, gaining early exposure to appellate research and judicial decision-making. After graduation, he went on to clerk for both the Michigan Supreme Court and the Michigan Court of Appeals, where he honed his skills in legal analysis, opinion drafting, and appellate advocacy.
Following his judicial clerkships, Mr. Gumina joined Eardley Law Offices, where he has built a reputation as a dedicated advocate for individuals and families facing life-changing injuries and civil rights violations. He is admitted to practice in all Michigan state courts, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
Mr. Gumina is a Grand Rapids, Michigan, native, serving his community as a licensed practitioner for more than a decade. He has a wealth of knowledge gained from assisting numerous clients with appellate matters, trials and civil litigation.
