As the founder of the Law Offices of Jeffery A. Cojocar, PC, Mr. Jeffery A. Cojocar protects and pursues the legal rights of his clients throughout southeastern Michigan, including those in Macomb Wayne, and Oakland Counties. He focuses his practice on high-profile criminal defense, contested divorces, real estate and probate matters, and litigation of all types. His cases involve such wide-ranging fields from homicides to misdemeanors, custody battles, and high value divorces, property disputes from evictions, to representation of community associations, contested probate matters, handling the needs of small to mid-size businesses, and virtually every type of contested litigation.
In 1993, Mr. Cojocar graduated magna cum laude from Wayne State University with a Bachelor of Arts in political science. He then attended Florida State University College of Law, receiving his Juris Doctor in 1995.
For over 15 years, Mr. Cojocar has dedicated a large portion of his practice to litigation. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the Macomb County Bar Association and the Oakland County Bar Association. In addition, Mr. Cojocar is admitted to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, the United States District Court for the Western District of Michigan and the United States Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit.
Mr. Cojocar believes in hard work and is committed in providing the best service possible to the people he represents. He extends that dedication to the legal community as well, sharing his experience and knowledge with others in seminars and presentations. He is a member of several legal organizations, including the Criminal Defense Attorneys of Michigan, the Michigan Association for Justice, the American Association for Justice and the Institute of Continuing Legal Education. Mr. Cojocar is also the author of an article on residential real estate transaction clauses which was published in the Michigan Bar Journal.
