    As the founding attorney at the Health Law Office of Amy Fehn, Ms. Fehn offers focused advice and zealous advocacy to health care businesses and providers. Proudly serving clients throughout the state of Michigan, she provides representation in matters involving issues such as Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 compliance, contract drafting and review, regulation compliance, professional license defense, and Medicare appeals and audits.

    In 1991, Ms. Fehn graduated summa cum laude from Kent State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in nursing. She went on to graduate summa cum laude from The University of Akron School of Law in 1998, receiving a Juris Doctor.

    For more than 20 years, Ms. Fehn has defended health care professionals against state investigations and administrative complaints, as well as in appeals over denied claims. She also advises clients, helping them to anticipate their regulatory obligations in order to avoid compliance issues. As a former registered nurse, Ms. Fehn has a deep respect for health care providers and an understanding of the practicalities they face in the field. She draws on this knowledge and experience to develop practical solutions on her clients’ behalf. Ms. Fehn has an Avvo “Superb” rating.
