As a certified civil court mediator, Mr. Yamin strives to help his clients resolve their conflicts and reach agreements without the need for expensive and time-consuming litigation; however, he will not hesitate to take a matter to court if necessary to ensure the best odds of his clients achieving the positive results they expect and deserve. A 1978 graduate of the University of Michigan, Mr. Yamin studied at the London School of Economics before attending Michigan State University College of Law. While in law school, he was a member of the student senate and served with both the school's law review as well as the Moot Court.
He obtained his Juris Doctor in 1982, and the Michigan State Bar Association admitted him to practice that same year. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan and the Michigan Supreme Court. He is an active member of the State Bar of Michigan and the organization's Real Estate Committee as well as with the Oakland County and Bay County Bar Associations. He is also a Standing Fellow with the Oakland County Bar Foundation.
