Colleen M. While in law school, she served as title editor of the Detroit Mercy Law Review, published a note on historical cell-site location data, and received three book awards for academic excellence. She also completed an externship in the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Domestic Violence Unit and participated in both solo and appellate advocacy programs.
After passing the State Bar of Michigan exam, Ms. Fries joined the UDM Law Incubator Program to represent clients in family law, probate and elder law.
Ms. Fries is an active member of the State Bar of Michigan’s Elder Law and Disability Rights Section, and its Probate and Estate Planning Section, as well as the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and Oakland County Bar Association.
