Attorney Robert B. Bauer is the vice president and shareholder of the Dougherty, Molenda, Solfest, Hills & Bauer P.A. law firm, located in Apple Valley, Minnesota. A Minnesota native, Mr. Bauer received his Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities in 1987. He then attended Mitchell Hamline School of Law, where he obtained his Juris Doctor, cum laude, in 1992 and received an American Jurisprudence Award for Evidence, Sales and Secured Transactions.
In 1992, the Minnesota State Bar Association admitted him to practice, and the State Bar of Wisconsin admitted him in 1993. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota as well as U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin.
Highly knowledgeable in his practice areas, Mr. Bauer has published numerous articles and conducted many classes and seminars on topics related to dispute resolution, eminent domain issues, title law, real estate and land use matters, legal ethics and more.
In addition to his involvement with the Minnesota State Bar Association Real Property Law Section, he is also a member of the Dakota County Bar Association and the First Judicial District Bar Association. He serves as chairperson for the Minnesota Client Security Board and is an active member of the Appraisal Institute.
