Anthony T. Smith represents commercial and residential property owners, commercial and residential building contractors, property management companies, and townhome and condominium associations throughout Minnesota and the greater midwest.

A skilled advocate, negotiator, and trial lawyer, Tony represents clients both in the boardroom and in the courtroom in matters involving corporate governance and operation, contracting, insurance coverage, and construction. Additionally, he regularly teaches educational courses on these topics for industry trade groups, including the Minnesota Chapter of the Community Associations Institute and the Minnesota Multi-Housing Association. 

Mr. Smith serves on the Board of Directors of CAI-MN, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing knowledge, education, networking, and legislative leadership needed to run competent and prosperous community associations. Additionally, he volunteers as corporate counsel for Rein In Sarcoma, a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating the public and medical community about sarcomas, supporting sarcoma patients and their loved ones, and funding research directed toward developing new treatments and finding a cure for sarcoma cancers.

Tony is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School, and is admitted to practice in the state of Minnesota, the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
