Cindy Perusse

Cindy Perusse is the owner and attorney at Perusse Family Law, PLLC, with offices in Englewood, Colorado, and Bloomington, Minnesota. With 32 years devoted exclusively to family law, she guides clients through complex personal and legal landscapes. Early in her career, she recognized many individuals needed counsel in familial matters and embraced this focus, unperturbed by its emotional dimensions.

Ms. Perusse’s litigation practice encompasses divorce proceedings from straightforward agreements to contested trials. She has handled numerous motions and trials, addressing income determinations, cash-flow analyses, tax ramifications and valuations of real estate, personal property and businesses.

Understanding that child custody and parenting-time disputes often evolve, Ms. Perusse represents clients in modifications of parenting arrangements and child support. To achieve optimal results, she collaborates with CPAs, mental health professionals and other specialists. As a business owner, mother and wife, she empathizes with the challenges of balancing parental responsibilities and professional demands. In every case, her primary goal is to protect clients’ interests so they can remain focused on their families and careers.

Ms. Perusse earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, and her Juris Doctor from Mitchell Hamline School of Law. Admitted in Minnesota since 1994 and Colorado since 2011, she began her career clerking for the Third Judicial District in Minnesota before serving as an associate at firms in Minnesota and California. Her training includes NITA Family Law Trial Advocacy and forty hours of family law mediation.

An active member of the Minnesota State Bar Association’s and the Colorado Bar Association’s family law sections, as well as the W.O.L.F. (Women-Owned Law Firms), Ms. Perusse is committed to community service. She volunteers at military veterans’ legal clinics, domestic relations self-help services and serves as a court appointed special advocate (CASA) for children in the foster care system. Her thoughtful approach and competence earn the trust of clients facing challenging family law matters.
