• Erik represented a client injured while a passenger on the back of a motorcycle. The motorcyclist rear-ended another car, causing severe injuries to her leg.  Her injuries required several surgeries and the cooperation of a large group of doctors.  In addition to the medical costs, TRS had to calculate the projected income for this commission based employee to fully account for her financial losses to ensure they were properly accounted for in the settlement. • Erik's client was a small business owner making a morning delivery to an out-state Minnesotan in bad weather when a college aged driver was leaving a party from the night before. The other driver lost control and stuck Erik’s client head on causing life threatening injuries. The client’s health insurer paid over a million dollars for medical costs from the crash. The $550,000 was the full extent of the auto coverage, but Erik was able to convince the health insurance to waive it’s seven figure claim and maximize the recovery for his client. 
• In 2023 Erik’s client was walking across the street in a crosswalk with a school bus driver, distracted by a bus full of middle schoolers, turned left and hit him, knocking him out cold.
