Attorney Profile

Steven Terry is the co-founder and current managing partner of TSR Injury Law. His practice consists solely of representing injured people and pursuing justice against tortfeasors. He has handled thousands of injury claims and continues to exceed his clients' expectations and hold insurance companies responsible for the damage their insured's cause.

TSR has grown into one of the largest and most successful personal injury law firms in the State of Minnesota.  It continues to grow with the assistance of his current and past clients who never forget the lawyer that helped them in their time of need. Close to 60 percent of Steve's new clients come from past client referrals.

Steve graduated with honors from the University of Minnesota and magna cum laude from William Mitchell College of Law where he also served on the school's Law Review. Steve currently serves on the Minnesota Association for Justice's Board of Governors and will become President of MAJ in August 2014 for a one year term.

He lives with his wife, Jennifer, and daughters, Devyn and Weslee, in Bloomington, Minnesota. Non-work-related activities include riding his Harley Davidson, international travel, cabin time, and cheering for (in no particular order) the Minnesota Timberwolves, Detroit Lions and Tigers and University of Michigan Football team.

  • CB was rearended.  there was minimal damage.  He had immediate neck pain into his arm.  He had surgery a few days later.  His insurance refused to pay wage loss or bills and the at fault party claimed no one could be hurt from this type of crash.  After intense investigation, we got all the bills and wage loss paid and settled for policy limits of the at fault party of $150,000.00., 2015
  • AB was making an in-home visit for a student.  She was invited into the house and was attacked by a pitbull.  AB suffered a knee laceration and eventually had two knee surgeries.  The case settled for $110,000.00., 2015
  • EY was tragically hurt when a drunk driver hit him head on.  He was blinded in both eyes.  Collecting $200,000.00 from the drunk and UIM coverage was easy, but we got over $800,000.00 dollars in bills paid and waived so the maximum amount of compensation was paid to my client.  We also worked with the prosecutor to get a max criminal conviction ofr the drunk driver., 2015

  • KO was parked on the opposite side of the street awaiting traffic to clear before he cleared a snowbound driveway.  The at fault driver failed to keep a lookout and hit KO head on.  KO had a history of neck pain into his arm, but the crash aggravated the prior condition.  Physical therapy did not help, but a surgery finally did.  KO went back to work and is now painfree.  The case settled for policy limits for BI and UIM for a total of $200,000.00., 2015

  • $100,000.00 for a multiple RFN case.  JL was injured in a crash.  Surgery was not an option for her.  The pain was minimized by burning the nerve in her facet joint.  She has no pain after the procedure and was able to go back to work., 2015
