Steven Terry is the co-founder and managing partner of TSR Injury Law. His practice consists solely of representing injured people and pursuing justice against tortfeasors. He has handled thousands of injury claims and continues to exceed his clients' expectations and hold insurance companies responsible for the damage their insured's cause.

TSR Injury Law has grown into one of the largest and most successful personal injury law firms in the State of Minnesota.  It continues to grow with the assistance of his current and past clients who never forget the lawyer that helped them in their time of need. Steve graduated with honors from the University of Minnesota and magna cum laude from William Mitchell College of Law where he also served on the school's Law Review. Steve currently serves on the Minnesota Association for Justice's Board of Governors and has served as it's President in 2014.  

He lives with his wife, Jennifer, and daughters, Devyn and Weslee, in Bloomington, Minnesota. Non-work-related activities include riding his Harley Davidson, international travel, cabin time, and cheering for (in no particular order) the Minnesota Timberwolves, Vikings and University of Michigan Football team.

  • GG hurt his knee in a crash.  He was more concerned about his wife so he did not treat.  Several months after the crash, GG went to the doctor.  He eventually had surgery.  Neither insurance company believed the crash caused the knee injury or the surgery.  Litigation proved it was releted and the case settled for the policy limit of $30,000.00 with all bills and wage loss paid., 2016
  • MT is a firefighter who was injured in a car crash.  He hurt his back and eventually had surgery.  He had prior low back pain from weightlifting, but we were able to prove a new injury and secured the policy limits of $80,000.00 which paid his bills, wage loss and compensated him for his pain., 2016
  • MA lost both legs in a crash.  We found a business policy that afforded an extra $500,000.00 in insurance coverage.  All of his bills were paid and we only had to pay back $15,000.00 to the health carriers thereby maximizing the recovery to MA., 2016

  • MM was killed by a drunk driver.  The news reported this case because the defendant fleed the scene of the crash and MM was a war vet who had just returned home from duty.  Investigation revealed who the criminal was and over $500,000.00 in insurance was procured from multiple policies.  We also sued another driver who was "racing" with the defendant.  His insurance denied the claim until we sued and they they also paid their policy limit., 2016
  • MG is a State Trooper injured on the job by a distracted driver.  He suffered a concusiion but had trouble treating because of his job.  , 2016
  • DH visited Minnesota from Ohio on a business trip.  She was rear-ended and had a head injury.  We worked with an Ohio worker's compensation attorney to get her bills and wage loss paid.  Leveraging the Ohio work comp subrogation, we secured an injury settlement against the at fault driver's insurance and the rental car she was a passenger in., 2016
  • IH needed shoulder surgery after being struck on his motorccyle.  Case settled for policy limit of $30,000.00 and another $84,000.00 from the underinsured policy .  Although IH did not own the motorcycle he was riding, we found and converted insurance from both the at fault car and the bike., 2016

  • BM was injured up north when an elderly drive blew a stop sign on a county road.  The police initially blamed my client, but investigation of tire marks showed the defendant ran the stop sign without ever slowing down and BM did take evasive manuers to avoid the crash.  BM suffered a brain injury so his recollection of the crash was not helpful.  Once liability was solved, the case settled for policy limits., 2016
  • Helped family where mom was killed and two kids severely injured by a drunk driver.  This was a public case and led to changes of the road where the crash happened and the father/husband becoming very active with MADD MN.  Case settled for policy limits and structures were created for the children's settments that will fund their college tuition.  , 2016
  • AL was in a crash.  She had documented neck pain for years before the crash.  After chiropractic care, injections and physical therpay, she was forced to have neck surgery.  We secured a surgeon's report that the crash was a severe aggravation to pre-existing neck problems and settled the case for $200,000.00., 2016
  • RP was killed by a driver high on meth.  His wife was severly injured, but survived.  Total settlement was over $500,000.00.  Part of the settlement was structured for RP's grandchildren to cover college costs as a lasting memory of grandpa., 2016
  • EK crossed a street in Minneapolis.  She was struck by a car and broke her leg.  The car disputed the claim and argued EK ran out into traffic.  We found witnesses and video that showed the truth.  The case quickly settled for $57,000.00., 2015

  • SR was a high school student who was driving her friends home.  She was stopped at a red light, it turned green and she made  a left turn.  Another driver was speeding and came thru the red light, killing two passengers and severly hurting SR.  The insurance company blamed SR saying she made an illegal left turn.  Working with the State Patrol we found video showing defedant ran the light and the case quickly settled for several hundred thousand dollars.
