Andrew Poole is committed to representing clients in Duluth, Minnesota and the surrounding area. He focuses his practice on criminal defense, handling the following matters: homicide, kidnapping and stalking, criminal sexual conduct, assault, domestic assault, harassment and restraining orders, solicitation and prostitution, arson, burglary, theft and shoplifting, drug sale and possession, driving while impaired, and hit-and-runs. Mr. Poole also handles cases involving military law, student crimes, trespassing, criminal damage, disorderly conduct, obstruction and resisting arrest, probation violations, vehicle forfeiture and expungement.  In addition to criminal practice, Mr. Poole has handled civil claims involving injury and police misconduct. 

In 2007, Mr. Poole received a Bachelor of Arts in economics and Spanish from Minnesota State University, Mankato. He went on to earn a Juris Doctor in 2010 from the William Mitchell College of Law. While in law school, he served as editor of the school’s Law Raza Journal of Law and Diversity.

Starting his career with the public defender’s office, Mr. Poole gained valuable experience protecting the rights of those accused of committing a crime. Using strict attention to detail and aggressive representation, Mr. Poole obtains dismissals and reduced charges for his clients. For his successes, he holds an Avvo “Superb” rating and he has been named in The National Trial Lawyers: Top 100.
