Angela M. Lutz Amann

Angela M. Lutz Amann is a lawyer with LeVander, Gillen & Miller, P.A., located in Eagan, Minnesota. She offers legal services in estate planning, trusts, probate and wills, serving the St. Paul/Minneapolis and Twin Cities areas. Since joining the firm in 1995 and becoming a shareholder in 2000, Ms. Amann has been advising individuals on various estate planning strategies, including wills, revocable trusts, minor trusts, disclaimer and credit shelter trusts and gifting plans. She also guides clients through probate and trust administrations. 

Ms. Amann provides legal services to public and private employers, addressing employment-related concerns. Her work includes drafting employment and separation agreements, handling discharges, defending discrimination and breach-of-contract claims, and developing employment policies and handbooks.

Additionally, Ms. Amann advises nonprofit organizations and other entities on corporate, employment and health care law matters and serves as general counsel to a major professional association. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Notre Dame Law School in 1994 and her Bachelor of Science from Northwestern University in 1991.

Ms. Amann holds various leadership roles at LeVander, Gillen & Miller, P.A., including being a member of the Finance and Management Committee, Chair of the Human Resources Committee, Chair of the Employment and Probate and Estate Planning Practice Groups, Secretary of the Board of Directors. Her previous experience includes serving as a law clerk to the Honorable Thomas R. Lacy in Minnesota’s First Judicial District Court.

Ms. Amann is active in several professional associations, including the Minnesota State Bar Association, and has served on various boards, including the Inver Hills Community College Foundation. Her contributions to legal education include presenting seminars on Minnesota’s employment laws and estate planning. She also engages in volunteer activities, mentoring law students and providing legal assistance through Dakota County initiatives.
