Jessica A. Kim

Jessica A. Kim is a family law attorney and partner at Oney + Kim Family Law, PLLC, in St. Paul, Minnesota. Ms. Kim represents clients in cases involving issues such as divorce, child support, court order modifications, custody, domestic abuse and matters impacting children throughout the Twin Cities metropolitan area. Ms. Kim is Lead Counsel rated based upon her extensive trial experience including complex third-party custody cases and her dedication to advocating for her clients. 

Ms. Kim graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with a bachelor's degree before going on to complete her law degree at William Mitchell School of Law. During law school, she received an academic scholarship and volunteered with the Minnesota Justice Foundation. She also completed legal coursework at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea and earned an intermediate Korean language designation. In addition to her law practice, Ms. Kim has demonstrated a  commitment to volunteer service and has volunteered at the Hennepin County Family Justice Center and prepared tax returns on a pro bono basis through AccountAbility Minnesota. 

Following law school, Ms. Kim passed the Minnesota bar examination and obtained her license to practice law before all Minnesota state courts. She is an active member of her legal community and belongs to the Dakota County Bar Association and the Minnesota State Bar Association.

As a family law attorney with experience as a qualified mediator, Ms. Kim provides compassionate and empathetic service to clients, guiding them through the complexities of the family law system and clearly explaining all options. She knows that family law disputes can be difficult and emotional experiences and uses her legal knowledge and experience to obtain the best possible outcomes for her clients.
