Korine L. Land

As a shareholder at LeVander, Gillen & Miller, P.A., based in Eagan, Minnesota, Korine L. Land provides legal counsel to municipalities, governmental entities and public-sector employers throughout the region. Her practice areas include municipal and governmental law, land use and employment matters, where she advises clients on both day-to-day operations and complicated legal challenges.

With more than three decades of experience, Ms. Land represents cities and other governmental bodies on a wide range of issues, including zoning and land use regulation, employment policies, labor relations, and compliance with state and federal laws. She is known for her practical, solutions-oriented approach and her ability to guide clients through sensitive matters with clarity and confidence. Her work often involves advising elected officials, city staff and boards on governance, risk management and strategic decision-making.

Ms. Land earned her Juris Doctor, graduating cum laude from Mitchell Hamline School of Law in 1995. Prior to attending law school, she completed her undergraduate studies at Augustana College in 1992, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Spanish and graduated magna cum laude. After clearing the bar, she became licensed to practice in Minnesota and expanded her credentials to Wisconsin.

Ms. Land is admitted to practice before the Minnesota Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota and the Supreme Court of Wisconsin. Outside the courtroom, she stays involved in the professional community, and she formerly served as president of the Minnesota City Attorneys Association and holds memberships in Minnesota Women Lawyers, the Minnesota State Bar Association, the Wisconsin State Bar Association, the First Judicial District Bar Association and the Dakota County Bar Association.
