Susan is a recognized for her knowledge and experience in complex family law matters, including custody, finances, spousal maintenance, protection of nonmarital assets and business, property and asset valuations. A registered nurse turned lawyer, Susan worked in intensive care management, emergency and helicopter rescue. Susan earned her Juris Doctor in 1993 from William Mitchell College of Law. She is a Qualified Neutral as a mediator, arbitrator, early neutral evaluator, parenting consultant and custody evaluator. Susan serves on the Minnesota Women Lawyers' Advisory Board and is an emeritus member of the Minnesota Association for Justice Board of Governors and the executive board of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts. Susan is an American Bar Association Fellow and a Master in the Warren Burger American Inn of Court.
