Thomas R. Bennerotte

Thomas R. Bennerotte is a founding partner of Bennerotte & Associates, P.A., a personal injury law firm based in Eagan, Minnesota. Throughout his career, he has built a practice centered on advocating for injury victims, handling matters involving bicycle accidents, car accidents, slip-and-fall incidents, dog bites, motorcycle accidents, pedestrian accidents and catastrophic injuries.

Mr. Bennerotte's path into law was anything but conventional. He entered the legal world in 1991 as a claims adjuster, a role that gave him early, firsthand insight into how insurance companies evaluate and handle injury claims – knowledge that would later prove invaluable to the clients he represents. That experience led him to pursue formal legal training, and he went on to work as a law clerk and associate attorney at one of the country's premier trial law firms before establishing his own practice.

A native of southern Minnesota, Mr. Bennerotte completed his undergraduate education at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration with Honors. He then attended William Mitchell College of Law, graduating cum laude while simultaneously working full-time as a law clerk, a demonstration of the work ethic that continues to define his legal practice today.

Licensed to practice in both Minnesota and North Dakota, Mr. Bennerotte has represented thousands of clients across Minnesota and the broader United States. Notably, the overwhelming majority of new cases at Bennerotte & Associates, P.A., come through referrals from fellow attorneys, physicians, friends and former clients, a testament to the trust and reputation Tom has cultivated over decades of practice.

Beyond the courtroom, Mr. Bennerotte remains active in his professional community as a member of the Minnesota Association for Justice and Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD).
