Alaina Wenning is an associate attorney at the Edina-based law firm of Hill Crabb, LLC, located in Minnesota. Graduating from the University of St. Thomas with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications, legal studies and philosophy in 2015, Ms. Wenning was inducted into the Lambda Pi Eta society. She received her doctorate in jurisprudence from the University of St. Thomas School of Law in 2018. Even before graduating school, she garnered practical legal knowledge serving as a judicial extern at the Washington County Courthouse. During this tenure, she gained an in-depth understanding of the procedural issues concerning family law, juvenile law and personal injury law hearings.
Ms. Wenning has also been a public interest extern at the Ramsey County Juvenile and Family Court. Before joining Hill Crabb, LLC, in 2020, she served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Judges Margaret A. Daly and Nicole A. Engisch at the Minnesota Judicial Branch. Here, she handled matters pertaining to family law, professional ethics and divorce law.
A socially committed individual, Ms. Wenning is also engaged in various volunteering activities for organizations such as Feed My Starving Children. She has also contributed her pro bono efforts as a volunteer law clerk at the Minnesota Justice Foundation and the Wills For Heroes Foundation.
