In the corporate arena, Mr. Sathre has guided privately held companies on various matters such as contract negotiation and drafting, entity creation, corporate charters and bylaws, general corporate representation, risk management, compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks, corporate governance and shareholder disputes. His comprehensive understanding of these areas led to his appointment to the board of directors as chief legal officer for a significant green hydrogen manufacturing project in the Southwest United States.
On the litigation front, Mr. Sathre has managed and led numerous high-stakes commercial litigation cases across the country, representing a spectrum of clients from large financial bodies to private and public companies. His litigation work spans several key areas, including financial services, construction disputes and real estate litigation, to name a few.
After receiving his B.A. from the University of Minnesota in 2006, Mr. Sathre earned his J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School in 2009. He is licensed to practice in both the Minnesota State Court and the Minnesota Federal Court. Before his current role, he represented various clientele in matters ranging from construction and lien law to corporate governance and complex commercial litigation.

- Represented a large MN general contractor in connection with two substantial, multi-million dollar pre-litigation disputes alleging defective construction on two different large public works projects. , 2025
- Prevailed on a motion to dismiss on behalf of a Fantastic Sam's franchise owner resulting in dismissal of a franchisee purchaser's six figure claims for breach of the purchase agreement and misrepresentation. , 2025
- Won summary judgment on behalf of two homeowners for claims of breach of an easement agreement, trespass, invasion of privacy and violation of Minnesota's tree removal statute and dismissing all of their neighbor's counterclaims including intentional infliction of emotional distress, trespass. Later secured a monetary judgment following a two-day court trial on damages including treble damages and exemplary damages for the neighbor's invasion of privacy., 2025
- Won a three-day contested arbitration hearing against a large local roofing contractor and its insurance company and secured on behalf of homeowner clients a substantial award and attorney fees in excess of $250,000. The contractor commenced the action and was seeking to foreclose a mechanic's lien against the clients' home in excess of $100,000., 2025
