Jennifer A. Rutz

Jennifer A. Rutz is an associate attorney at the firm Hellmuth & Johnson located in Edina, Minnesota. She has been in the legal field for over a decade and focuses her practice on estate planning, probate and trust administration, and small businesses. 

With a Bachelor of Arts degree in marketing, Ms. Rutz graduated magna cum laude from the University of St. Thomas, where she was also a member of the American Marketing Association and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. She pursued her legal studies at the University of Minnesota Law School and earned her Juris Doctor in 2013 while graduating magna cum laude.

In law school, Ms. Rutz was an active member of the Women Law Students Association and the Minnesota Women Lawyers. Moreover, she spent time volunteering at the Tubman Center. She received authorization to practice law in Minnesota and all its state courts. 

Enthusiastic in her affiliations with the legal community, Ms. Rutz is a member of the Hopkins Rotary Club, the Hennepin County Bar Association and the Minnesota State Bar Association. She also believes in giving back to the community and serves as a volunteer attorney at the Hopkins Senior Center and the Cancer Legal Care.

Ms. Rutz finds great satisfaction in helping clients of various demographics and family sizes achieve their estate planning objectives. She aims to serve as a lifelong, reliable resource for her clients and their families. She guides her clients as they navigate the legal system and keeps them informed of the progress of their case.
