Thomas Henry Priebe

Thomas Henry Priebe is an attorney and partner at Hellmuth & Johnson, based in Edina, Minnesota. Serving the people of Minneapolis and the surrounding areas, he focuses his practice on a wide range of legal issues involving commercial litigation, business and corporate law, professional negligence, cannabis law, employment law, municipal law, construction defects and insurance coverage. 

With an undergraduate degree in political science and government from the University of Minnesota Duluth, Mr. Priebe graduated from the university in 2009. He received his doctorate in jurisprudence from the Mitchell Hamline School of Law, where he was also an active member of the university’s justice trial team. 

Throughout his nine years as an attorney, Mr. Priebe has successfully represented numerous clients in courtrooms across the state of Minnesota. He has served as a lead counsel in jury and bench trials and assisted both defendants and plaintiffs. He has represented several employers and employees in federal and state courts in lawsuits involving claims of discrimination and unemployment as well as before the Minnesota Department of Human Rights and the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). 

Mr. Priebe works closely with his clients to build a good rapport and provide them with a safe space to share. He makes it his highest priority to thoroughly understand his clients’ goals before providing them with comprehensive legal counsel regarding how to proceed with the case.
