Growing up in Burnsville, Minnesota, Ms. Anderson graduated from Burnsville High School in 2005. She pursued higher education at Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota, earning a Bachelor of Arts cum laude in political science, with minors in psychology and Spanish in 2008. Her legal education culminated in a Juris Doctor degree cum laude from William Mitchell College of Law in 2012. She has been practicing law in Minnesota since 2012.

Ms. Anderson’s legal career was nurtured at her father’s firm during her college summers and law school years. Upon her graduation in 2012, she and her father launched Anderson Law Office, PLLC, in Prior Lake, Minnesota, providing legal services to individuals and businesses for nearly seven years. After her father's unexpected passing in January 2020, she continued the firm’s legacy, relocating it to Lakeville, Minnesota.
