James E. Snoxell is a shareholder in and a director at Henningson & Snoxell, Ltd. The chair of the firm’s business law and nonprofit organization’s department, he represents clients throughout the greater Twin Cities metropolitan area and other parts of Minnesota from the firm’s offices in Maple Grove. Mr. Snoxell is admitted to practice in Minnesota as well as before the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota, the U.S. Tax Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
Mr. Snoxell has a diverse practice that is spread among real estate, intellectual property, employment law, estate and business succession planning, and general business and commercial law. His client base is made up of nonprofit organizations, corporations, limited liability companies and individuals, and he handles a wide variety of matters, including business formation, advising companies on how to avoid or ameliorate claims of discrimination and harassment, tax planning and advice, intellectual property protection, licensing, and contract preparation and breaches.
Mr. Snoxell’s professional affiliations include the American Association for Justice, the Ramsey County Bar Association, the Minnesota State Bar Association and the Minnesota Association for Justice. He is active in his community and in his church as well, with his memberships, including the Christian Management Association, the Brooklyn Center Business Association, the TwinWest Chamber of Commerce Foundation, the North Hennepin Community College Foundation, and the board of governors of Saint Anthony Park Properties. Mr. Snoxell is a cum laude graduate of Carleton College, and he obtained his legal education at the University of Minnesota Law School and received his Juris Doctor cum laude in 1981.
