Principal attorney Margaux C. In 2018 Ms. Soeffker started her own law firm and loves running her own business.  She takes pride in providing superior legal representation to individuals going through difficult times.  

Attorney Soeffker has an Avvo “Superb” rating and received the "Client's Choice" award in 2021.  Ms. Soeffker graduated from Johns Hopkins University with her Bachelor of Arts degree in English in 2002.  Subsequently, in 2005, she received her Juris Doctor at the University of Minnesota Law School.  She has taken training to provide alternative dispute resolution such as mediation, Social & Financial early neutral evaluation, however, at the present she focuses her practice on representing individuals in contested matters.  With fifteen years of family law experience, she is a passionate advocate for the rights of her clients.

A former board member of the Minnesota Chapter of the Scleroderma Foundation and the Family Court Enhancement Project (focused on safe ADR practices in domestic violence matters), Ms. Soeffker is currently a member of Minnesota Women Lawyers, the Hennepin County Bar Association and the Minnesota State Bar Association. She spent a decade working with Big Brothers Big Sisters Minnesota and provided community service and pro bono work to the Tubman Pro Bono Safety Project.  

Ms. Soeffker is also actively involved with the Family Law League, the Cooperative Practice Network, and the Minnesota Chapter of the Association of Family & Conciliation Courts. In her efforts to help women as they move past, experience or approach divorce, she worked for a year with Rediscovering U and presented about common misconceptions and myths in family law.  Ms. Soeffker is also a member of a solo/small firm peer consult group that adds depth and perspective to her approach to various issues.
