Andrew Page is a seasoned business litigator at Messerli | Kramer, where he counsels financial institutions, asset purchasers, receivers, lenders and corporations of all sizes in complex commercial disputes. His practice focuses on business litigation, bankruptcy proceedings, creditors’ remedies, and equipment leasing and finance. Drawing on deep courtroom experience, he also collaborates with transactional colleagues to structure asset deals, finance arrangements, real estate agreements and workout plans that mitigate litigation risk before it arises.
Before joining Messerli | Kramer, Mr. Page honed his skills at a leading national firm, advising clients on corporate trust matters, foreclosures, receiverships, fraudulent transfers and preference defenses. Earlier in his career, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable LaShonda A. Hunt in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois. There, he drafted opinions and memoranda addressing novel questions under Chapters 7, 11 (including Subchapter V), 12 and 13 of the Bankruptcy Code.
An academic scholar, Mr. Page earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Tufts University and his Juris Doctor from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law. He has been admitted to the Minnesota State Bar Association (MSBA) since 2019 and practices before the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota.
Active in the legal community, Mr. Page serves as education chair of the MSBA’s Bankruptcy Section, sits on the board of directors and co-chairs NextGen for the Minnesota Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association and is involved with the Federal Bar Association’s Minnesota Newer Lawyers Committee. He is also a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute.
Mr. Page is the co-author of “Unbundling a Bundle of Sticks” (American Bankruptcy Institute, 2023) and “A Market Based Theory to Demonstrate Lack of Reasonably Equivalent Value for Abusive Debt Exchange Offers” (Norton Annual Survey of Bankruptcy Law, 2022) and the sole author of “Contracts in Bankruptcy” (Minnesota CLE, 2023). In recognition of his pro bono contributions, he received the North Star Lawyer Award from the MSBA in 2023.
