Brandt F. Erwin

Attorney Brandt F. Erwin is a shareholder at Madigan, Dahl & Harlan, P.A., in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Mr. Erwin devotes his practice to alcohol and beverage law as well as business and commercial litigation. He serves clients in Minnesota and throughout the country, also serving as the President and Legal Counsel of the Minnesota Beer Wholesalers Association.

Mr. Erwin has several years of experience and is committed to providing personalized service to his clients. He handles a wide variety of business, civil, commercial and corporate litigation matters. He holds a license to practice law before all Minnesota state courts, the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota, the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the 5th, 8th and 9th Circuits, and the United States Supreme Court.

After graduating cum laude from Bridgewater State University in Bridgewater, Massachusetts, with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, Mr. Erwin earned his law degree from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, graduating magna cum laude. While completing his law degree, he served as primary editor of the Mitchell Hamline Law Review and was a Student Bar Association class representative.

Before joining the law firm of Madigan, Dahl & Harlan, P.A., Mr. Erwin gained valuable legal experience clerking for a Tenth Judicial District of Minnesota judge. This role allowed him to gain knowledge in various areas of law. He acquired his license to practice law in 2011 and joined Madigan, Dahl & Harlan, P.A., in 2012.
