An experienced attorney at Wilson Law Group LLC, Minneapolis, Minnesota, Cameron Giebink has dedicated his practice to immigration law. He concentrates on helping his clients with matters regarding U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services applications, removal defense and other employment matters. He also has experience handling complex issues of Terrorism-Related Inadmissibility Grounds (TRIG) bars, categorical criminal analysis, and novel statutory and regulatory analysis.
Licensed in Minnesota and Nebraska, Mr. Giebink is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit. He has a bachelor’s degree in global studies and political science from Concordia College, Minnesota. He went on to graduate summa cum laude from the Mitchell Hamline School of Law, with a Juris Doctor in 2021. At law school, he was appointed as the managing editor of the Mitchell Hamline Law Review.
Even before joining Wilson Law Group LLC, Mr. Giebink earned experience in the field interning at the U.S. Attorney’s Office, under the Honorable Judge Donavan Frank. He has also clerked at a private firm, where he worked to offer problem resolutions to clients across the globe. During this tenure, he helped the firm with the collection of evidence, conduct of research, drafting of legal documents and more. This foundational experience has equipped him with a profound understanding of the legal landscape and a dedication to the rights of immigrants.
Mr. Giebink also contributed to the community as a grant writer and program developer for the Voyageurs National Park Association, where he honed his skills in legal writing and program development. He is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) Minnesota Dakotas Chapter and the Minnesota State Bar Association, reflecting his commitment to staying at the forefront of immigration law and advocacy.
