Daniel L. Gerdts

Attorney Daniel L. Gerdts is a solo practitioner in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Mr. Gerdts focuses his practice on criminal defense, including murder, criminal sexual conduct, child pornography, sex trafficking, guns, drug crimes, DWI, assault, fraud, money laundering, and tax evasion. He serves criminal defendants in the Twin Cities region, and throughout Minnesota.

Mr. Gerdts has more than 30 years of legal experience. After receiving his bachelor’s degree from St. John’s University, Mr. Gerdts earned his law degree from the University of Minnesota Law School, and received his law license in 1990. Before embarking on a private criminal defense practice he served as a law clerk to Judge Gerald W. Heaney of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit and to Judge Michael J. Davis shortly before his appointment to the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota.

Mr. Gerdts appears before all Minnesota courts, state and federal, both in the district courts and in the courts of appeals. He provides personalized and committed representation to anyone charged with a crime.
