Ernest Wiafe

At Ernest Wiafe Law, Ernest Wiafe represents clients in matters of criminal defense, comprehensive immigration law, family law and personal injury law. His services are offered to those throughout the United States with a focus on local surroundings, including the following: Brooklyn Center, St. Paul, Minneapolis, Plymouth, Brooklyn Park, Maple Groove, Golden Valley, New Hope, Robbinsdale and Crystal, Minnesota.

Mr. Wiafe graduated with honors from the City University of New York at Queens College with an undergraduate degree and focus on political science. He then attended City University of New York at Baruch College to obtain a Master of Public Administration before earning his Juris Doctor from St. John’s University. He is admitted to practice in the state of Minnesota and has been representing clients since 2014.

Fluent in Ga, Twi and English, Mr. Wiafe is experienced in managing the following legal issues: criminal law, family law, employment law, employer based immigration, diversity visas, asylum and removal defense, I-130 visas, I-9 visas, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival, the Violence Against Women Act, U visas, naturalizations and adjustment of status, or green cards. He gives back to his community through volunteer work with The Advocate for Human Rights and at the Immigrant Law Center.

A former extern with the United States Department of Labor Office of the Solicitor, Mr. Wiafe was also a certified student attorney while studying in law school. He had the opportunity to clerk in the 5th District Court of Minnesota and was given several awards for academics while earning his degrees.

The National Black Lawyers Association recognized Ernest as top 40 attorneys under 40 in 2017. In 2018, Ernest was recognized as a Rising Star attorney by the American Institute of Legal Advocates. Ernest has also been recognized as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers in 2020. Ernest's passion for justice for his clients is what makes him an excellent lawyer.
