F. Anthony Mannella

An attorney at Midwest Disability LLC, F. Anthony Mannella focuses his practice primarily on Social Security Disability Insurance benefit claims. Working out of the firm’s office in Coon Rapids, Minnesota, the town where he grew up, he represents people in the greater Twin Cities metropolitan area and throughout the state. As an undergraduate, Mr. Mannella attended Saint John’s University in Minnesota and received a Bachelor of Arts in 1984. He then went on to pursue his legal education at what was then known as William Mitchell College of Law, and in 1989, he was awarded his Juris Doctor.

Mr. Mannella’s client base is largely comprised of people who are no longer able to work for a living as a result of physical or mental impairments, and he guides them through what is an often confusing and complicated process of applying for their rightful Social Security Disability benefits. The majority of claims are denied at the initial level due to a variety of reasons, and when this is the case, he represents his clients through the subsequent appeals and hearings stages. Mr. Mannella’s experience has also encompassed helping people apply for Supplemental Security Income, a program of the Social Security Administration that has somewhat different eligibility and application requirements.

Mr. Mannella has been admitted to practice before all Minnesota state courts since 1989, and he subsequently became admitted to practice in Illinois in 2000. His professional affiliations include the Minnesota State Bar Association and the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives, and he has served on the board of directors of the Anoka Bar Association.
