Details
As a founding partner at the law offices of Henschel Moberg, P.A., in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Joani C. Moberg's practice is concentrated entirely on family law, helping clients with divorce, child custody, antenuptial agreements, appeal procedures, child support, spouse maintenance and other sensitive legal issues. She serves clients within the Twin Cities metropolitan area in Minnesota and the communities surrounding St. Paul and Minneapolis throughout Hennepin and Ramsey counties.
After earning her Bachelor of Arts cum laude from St. Olaf College in 1996, Ms. Moberg sought her Juris Doctor at the Hamline University School of Law, from which she graduated magna cum laude in 1999. Ms. Moberg was admitted to practice before the courts of Minnesota in the same year that she graduated law school, and she is now a qualified mediator under Rule 114 of the Minnesota General Rules of Practice for the District Courts. Because of her experience in her primary area of focus, she has served as a trainer on parenting and child custody for new judges at the Hennepin County Family Court since 2009.
Ms. Moberg is affiliated with the Minnesota State Bar Association and Minnesota Women Lawyers, and she is a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. She has authored, co-authored and been quoted in numerous works relating to family law in publications such as Attorney at Law magazine, With Equal Right, The Hennepin Lawyer and the Star Tribune. Ms. Moberg has also lectured on family law matters
