Jonathan J. Fogel

Jonathan J. Fogel is the owner of Fogel Family Law, located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he focuses his practice on a wide range of family law matters. With decades of experience, he provides guidance to individuals and families navigating complex and often sensitive legal issues, including divorce, child custody, child support and spousal maintenance. His practice also encompasses property division, paternity actions, post-decree modifications, and alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation and early neutral evaluations.

Mr. Fogel is known for his practical, client-centered approach, helping clients resolve disputes efficiently while minimizing conflict whenever possible. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 1991 and went on to receive his Juris Doctor from Mitchell Hamline School of Law in 1995.

Active in the legal community, Mr. Fogel has held leadership roles and maintains involvement in several professional organizations. He is a past chair of the Family Law Section of the Hennepin County Bar Association, and is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association and the American Bar Association, where he participates in their respective family law sections. Additionally, he is a member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, and serves on the executive committee of the Cardozo Society of Washington State.
