Kristen Williams

Kristen N. Williams represents clients on legal matters regarding business law, consumer law, real estate, general civil litigation, and criminal law. Practicing law for almost nine years now, she has extensive experience handling a variety of fields of law, including both civil and criminal litigation. She bases her practice in Minneapolis and extends her services to Minnesota statewide.

Ms. Williams’ accomplishments in her profession include leading several jury and bench trials to success. Her prior engagements with civil and criminal cases have given her a unique blend of skills and perspectives to handle each case maturely by foreseeing plausible outcomes. She uses her familiarity with the judicial system to counsel her client on related legal matters and instigate confidence in them while they go through a difficult phase in life.

Studying psychology and sociology at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Ms. Williams obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Minnesota in 2011. She went on to pursue law at the Mitchell Hamline School of Law and obtained her J.D. with a specialization in criminal law in 2015. In the same year as graduating from law school, she was licensed to practice by the Minnesota State Bar. She has significant experience of about four years as a criminal defense lawyer at the Ramsey County Public Defender’s Office.

Ms. Williams is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota. She is an active member of the legal community in Minnesota and holds members and affiliations with various prominent legal associations, including the Minnesota State Bar Association and the Hennepin County Bar Association.
