Lucas Kane

Lucas J. Kane is a dedicated employment law attorney and a partner at Fabian May & Anderson, PLLP, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He takes great pride in being an advocate and a voice for employees in Twin Cities and statewide Minnesota whose civil liberties or work emoluments were broken. His exclusive outlook and passion for pursuing justice have enabled him to tackle employment law cases efficiently.

Mr. Kane takes workplace violations like discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, wage and hour infringements and wrongful termination seriously. He has a substantial amount of experience advising workers in regard to different employment-associated contractual agreements, noncompetition deals and other restrictive covenants. He has represented customers before state and federal courts, administrative agencies as well as in mediations and arbitrations.

At The University of Iowa, Mr. Kane completed his Bachelor of Arts in political science and communication studies in 2014. Three years later, he graduated magna cum laude with his Juris Doctor from the University of St. Thomas School of Law in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He obtained his license to practice law in Minnesota in 2017 and before the United States Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit.

During his time at the law school, Mr. Kane achieved the Dean's Reward in banking law; acted as an articles editor for the University of St. Thomas Law Chronicle and participated in the University of St. Thomas Mentor Externship Program. He also engaged in creating an amicus brief presented to the Supreme Court of the United States. Soon after law school, he worked as a law clerk at the Civil Division of the Hennepin County Attorney's Office and at a law firm in the greater Minneapolis-St. Paul area.

Mr. Kane is affiliated with the Minnesota State Bar Association, the Hennepin County Bar Association and the National Employment Lawyers Association.
