After getting his bachelor’s degree magna cum laude from the University of North Dakota in 2004, Mr. Urlaub graduated with an MBA degree from the Augsburg University in 2008. Post this, he decided to study law at the William Mitchell College of Law, earning his Juris Doctor magna cum laude in 2013 and was licensed to practice in Minnesota the same year. While at law school, he served as the assistant editor of the William Mitchell Law Review. He is also admitted to appear before the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota.
Starting off his legal career by clerking for the Monroe Moxness Berg law firm, Mr. Urlaub went on to become an attorney at the same firm. His previous experience working in business banking comes in handy when he’s working with small businesses and corporate clients, on both their business and estate planning needs. He also conducts seminars and presents at conferences on various topics such as ‘Practical Financial and Estate Planning Strategies’ and ‘Legal and Financial Matters for Breweries and Distilleries.’
