Verdicts/Settlements:
- I have represented over 100 licensed professionals before their Minnesota state licensing boards, from nurses to chiropractors and doctors (and provided consultation on various practice issues for approximately ten additional clients). My overall case results are as follows (approx.): 50% complete dismissals with no negative action taken against client's license, 45% some disciplinary action taken with preservation of ability to practice, 5% period of suspension or complete revocation of license. All cases settled prior to going into contested cases with the exception of two. Ultimately, both of those cases came to settlement prior to finalization of the administrative contested case procedure. I have also defended individuals from findings of maltreatment from DHS. I have sought reconsiderations and set-asides for my clients, as well as represented individuals through the Fair Hearing Process opposite the Department of Health., 2013
- Represented (as co-counsel) defendant business owner in business dispute. Bench trial resulted in complete dismissal being returned by Judge in favor of our client with an award of costs, with interest. I handled a portion of motion practice during trial, deposed Plaintiff's expert witness, assisted with preparation of Defendant's expert witness, managed and catalogued all trial exhibits and all handled all post-trial motions., 2016
- Claimant driver was caused to collide with at-fault driver when they failed to yeild to Claimant, who was traveling at highway speeds. Claimant sufferred severe head, neck and back injury and was extracted from vehicle using jaws of life. Claimant made a full medical recovery. Claim settled for $90,000.00., 2017
- Claimant musician was attacked by landlord's cat on right hand and sufferred severe infection which required hospitalization and surgical repair, resulting in extensive scarring and limited range of motion. Claim settled for $90,000.00., 2017
- Plaintiff bicycle courier was struck by at-fault automobile driver while at work and sustained serious injury to knee and partial permanent disability. Also received sizeable work-comp benefits. Recovered policy limits on the liability claim of $150,000.00 and policy limits on the underinsured motorist claim of $25,000.00 for a total recovery of $175,000.00., 2015
