Munir R. Meghjee is a partner at the Minneapolis office of Robins Kaplan LLP. A highly regarded civil trial attorney, he has represented individuals and businesses throughout Minnesota and Colorado in a variety of matters. Admitted to practice before all Minnesota state courts, Mr. Meghjee is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota, the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the 8th, 10th, and Federal Circuits, and the Supreme Court of the United States. The types of cases that Mr. Megjhee has handled during his distinguished career have involved mass torts, contract breaches, misappropriation of trade secrets, patent infringement and multi-district litigation involving dangerous prescription medications. He has also represented corporate defendants at the appellate level.

Mr. Meghjee attended Colorado College as an undergraduate, where he majored in political economy and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in 1988. He then pursued his legal education at Northwestern University School of Law, and he served as the articles editor on the Northwestern University Law Review before being awarded his Juris Doctor cum laude in 1991. Prior to joining Robins Kaplan LLP in 2000, Mr. Megjhee was an attorney with what was then known as the Sierra Club Legal Defense Fund and at a national law firm.

Mr. Meghee is a member of several legal organizations, including the Minnesota Association for Justice, the Hennepin County Bar Association, and the Federal Circuit Bar Association. Active in his community as well, he has served on the boards of the Page Education Foundation and other civic organizations.
