Nicholas G.B. May

With over two decades of experience representing employees on numerous issues, Nicholas G. B. May is one of the well-known and sought-after employment litigation attorneys in Minnesota. He is a partner at the Minneapolis-based legal firm Fabian May & Anderson, PLLP, and extends his service statewide, litigating cases involving workplace discrimination, sexual harassment, whistleblower violations, retaliation, failure to pay commissions and wages, breach of fiduciary duty and partnership disputes.

A 1994 graduate of The University of Iowa, Mr. May received his Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and economics. A year later, he joined the Mitchell Hamline School of Law and graduated magna cum laude, obtaining his Juris Doctor in 1998.

Mr. May has been representing clients in the state since 1998, and regularly advocates for them in several courts throughout the state, including the Minnesota Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit, the U.S. District Court District for the District of Minnesota and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin as well. In addition to his litigation practice, he also serves as a neutral mediator and helps parties reach common ground.
