Patrick C. Burns is a partner and the founding attorney of the law firm Burns & Hansen, P.A., in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and practices across a wide variety of legal fields, including:

Mr. Burns graduated with honors with his B.A. degree graduate in 1993 from the American University and returned to his alma mater to pursue higher studies. After obtaining his master’s degree with honors in 1995 and working as a Public Information Officer for a significant period of time, he enrolled at the University of Minnesota Law School and received his Juris Doctor in 2000.

Licensed to practice in Minnesota a year after graduating law school, Mr. Burns was also later admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota and the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux (Dakota) Tribal Court. He holds memberships in the American Bar Association, the Hennepin County Bar Association and the Minnesota State Bar Association, as well as a current board member and a past president of the Epilepsy Association of Minnesota.
