Peter B. Wold

Peter B. Wold is a criminal defense attorney at the law offices of Wold Law located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. His practice encompasses all facets of criminal law, including serious crimes and federal crimes, with a particular focus on white collar crimes.

A Minnesota State Bar Association-certified criminal law specialist, Mr. Wold is a seasoned and aggressive trial lawyer for his clients in the courtroom. He stays abreast of cases by preparing for all proceedings and communicating with his clients at every stage. He makes sure to walk his clients through a very tough situation and fights for them till the end. A 1976 economics graduate of North Dakota State University, he obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Minnesota Law School.

A lifetime member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Minnesota Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Mr. Wold has served as the president and treasurer of the American Board of Criminal Lawyers. He is one of the founding members of the National College for DUI Defense. He also belongs to the Minnesota State Bar Association, the Hennepin County Bar Association, the Minnesota Society for Criminal Justice and the State Bar Association of North Dakota.

Authorized to practice law in all state courts in Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota, Mr. Wold appears in the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota, the Supreme Court of the United States and the United States Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit. He serves as a lawyer for the Minnesota Police and Peace Officers Association. His 40-plus years’ contribution to the criminal justice system has earned him many awards and accolades, including a “Good” Avvo rating.
