    Attorney Richard A. Saliterman is a founding partner of the Saliterman & Siefferman law firm in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Nationally recognized as one of the top attorneys in the country, Mr. Saliterman has more than 48 years of legal experience.     A 1968 summa cum laude graduate of the University of Minnesota, Mr. Saliterman obtained his Juris Doctor from Columbia University Law School in 1971. He also earned his Master of Laws from New York University School of Law in 1974. Licensed to practice in the District of Columbia as well as in Minnesota, he is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota and the U.S. Court of Military Appeals.

    Before entering private practice, Mr. Saliterman served with the U.S. Senate on the Anti-Trust and Monopoly Subcommittee, where he helped investigate mortgage fraud and other abuses within the financial services industry. He also served active duty with the U.S. Navy's JAG Corps for three and a half years. During this time, Mr. Saliterman served as Acting Director and Acting Deputy Director of the Navy's Federal Energy Office Compliance and Enforcement Operations.

    In recognition for his outstanding professionalism and exceptional legal abilities, Mr. Saliterman holds an AV Preeminent peer review rating* from Martindale-Hubbell along with the organization's Gold Client Champion Award for 2019. He also received the Hennepin County Sheriff's Distinguished Service Award in 2016 and Estate Planning Magazine named him a 5 Star Professional that same year.

    A leader in his legal community, Mr. Saliterman has served as an adjunct legal professor at Hamline University School of Law as well as a guest lecturer on franchise law at University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management. He has also conducted numerous lectures and seminars across his region on variety of legal topics, and he published many articles and books on business law, tax law, real estate law and other subjects.
