Fellowship in this organization is extended through invitation only, with membership limited to just 1% of the total lawyer population. He is also a member of the prestigious American Board of Trial Advocates.

Mr. Bennett graduated cum laude from the University of Notre Dame in 1973 and earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Minnesota Law School in 1976. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Districts of Minnesota, North Dakota, and the Eastern District of Wisconsin, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th, 8th, 11th, and Federal Circuits, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
