Scott M. Rodman is an attorney and shareholder at Arnold, Rodman & Kretchmer PLLC in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Mr. Rodman focuses his practice on family law, helping numerous clients throughout the Minneapolis-St. Paul area with issues related to custody and divorce.

Originally from Buffalo, New York, Mr. Rodman received his undergraduate degree from Binghamton University, State University of New York, and earned his law degree from the University of Minnesota Law School. He is admitted to practice in the state courts of Minnesota and New York, as well as before the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota, the Minnesota Supreme Court and the New York State Supreme Court.

Mr. Rodman has also been certified by the Minnesota Supreme Court as a qualified neutral, which means that he is qualified to provide alternative dispute resolution services such as mediation and arbitration.  In addition, he has received extensive training in both Financial Early Neutral Evaluation (FENE) and Social Early Neutral Evaluation (SENE). Mr. Rodman was also selected to receive specialized training in international custody and parental abduction mediation at the American Bar Association in Washington, DC.  Mr. Rodman was appointed by Ramsey County judicial officers to serve on the Ramsey County Early Case Management/Early Neutral Evaluation committee. Mr. Rodman was chosen as a SENE and FENE provider on the Ramsey County ENE roster of approved providers.

Mr. Rodman is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, and the Warren E. Burger American Inn of Court. He is also a co-founder of the Minnesota Family Law League, an organization designed to encourage collegiality between family law attorneys throughout the Minneapolis area.

Committed to helping his community, Mr. Rodman volunteers at a free clinic for those in need of legal help at the Tubman Chrysalis Center as well as for various other legal and community organizations.

As a teacher and public speaker, Mr. Rodman frequently lectures on family law and other topics at seminars and conferences for fellow attorneys as well as at events for the general public, both in Minnesota and nationally. He also previously served as an adjunct professor at Metropolitan State University, where he taught business law to undergraduate students.

Mr. Rodman is also the Editor of the forthcoming Divorce Practice Deskbook, to be published by Minnesota CLE in August 2015.  Mr. Rodman has also served on the Planning Committee for the Family Law Institute in 2014 and 2015.
