Carl Arnold

Carl Arnold has more than two decades of experience practicing family law. He now focuses his practice on helping both spouses/parents as a neutral mediator, where he can use his best skills. Carl is personable, calm, patient, and professional. He has taught mediation for many years as well as providing mediation services.

Carl is well known by family law attorneys across the state. Each year he works with over 100 different attorneys from across the state including, Duluth, Alexandria, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Mankato, Owatonna, Albert Lea and Rochester.

Mr. Arnold completed his undergraduate studies in 1998, graduating with his bachelor’s degree in economics from St. Olaf College. He went on to attend the University of Iowa College of Law, where he strengthened the legal foundation he still uses to help his clients today. He received his Juris Doctor in 2004, and in the same year, he obtained his license to practice law in Minnesota.

Outside his law practice, Mr. Arnold holds membership in influential legal organizations such as the Minnesota State Bar Association (Family Law Section) and the Collaborative Law Institute of Minnesota. He has also previously served as president of the Rice County Bar Association. He currently volunteers his time every month with Legal Clinic at the Northfield Community Action Center.
