Shaina Praska

At Rogness & Field, P.A., Shaina Praska is a family law attorney who represents clients in the Twin Cities metropolitan area in Minnesota. During her almost 10-year long career, she has handled many of the following divorce issues: spousal maintenance, parenting time and plans, child support, child custody, business valuation, nonmarital property issues, complex financial matters and simple financial matters.

Ms. Praska also handles post-divorce matters, including divorce decree enforcement, parenting time modification, custody modification, child support modification and spousal maintenance modification. Passionate about representing her clients through every step of some tumultuous emotional times at every level of the legal system, she is also experienced in collaborative law, orders for protection and paternity cases.

At St. Catherine University, Ms. Praska earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and French. She then provided legal services to domestic violence victims as a member of AmeriCorps and a volunteer in Ramsey County. In 2013, she earned her Juris Doctor from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, where she was Program Chair of the Minnesota Justice Foundation and was actively involved in the National Moot Court Competition.

Admitted to practice in the state of Minnesota, Ms. Praska is passionate about improving the legal community in any way she can. She is currently a Co-Programming Chair on the  Family Law Section Executive Committee of the  Hennepin County Bar Association, Secretary for the 19th District Bar Association, and a member of the  Minnesota State Bar Association.
