Matthew R. Hartranft

As an accomplished attorney at Brutlag, Trucke & Doherty, P.A., based in Plymouth, Minnesota, Matthew R. Hartranft has made a name for himself through his proficient handling of mergers and acquisitions, contract law and real estate. He has built a loyal clientele across Twin Cities, Hennepin County and throughout the state, who seek his proficiency in dealing with non-public companies, entrepreneurs and closely held business owners.

Following the attainment of his Bachelor of Science degree with honors from BYU-Idaho in 2005, Mr. Hartranft went on to enroll at William Mitchell College of Law, where he graduated with a Juris Doctor cum laude in 2015. He was subsequently admitted to practice law in both Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Notably, Mr. Hartranft has been recognized with the prestigious CALI Excellence for the Future Award in business law and has provided invaluable counsel to international NGOs. He holds a certification in law and business from William Mitchell College of Law and has been acknowledged by the Minnesota State Bar Association for his exceptional contribution to public service. Outside the courtroom, Mr. Hartranft is an active member of the Minnesota State Bar Association, the State Bar of Wisconsin, the Hennepin County Bar Association and the Ramsey County Bar Association.  Furthermore, he extends his professional values to the Minnesota non-profit, Mano-a-Mano, where he diligently works toward constructing pivotal community infrastructure in rural regions of Bolivia.
