Danielle T. Bird

Danielle T. Bird stands as a committed advocate for workers' rights at Bird, Stevens & Borgen, P.C., located in Rochester, Minnesota. A Rochester native, Ms. Bird pursued her legal education at Mitchell Hamline School of Law in Affiliation with Hamline University, Minnesota, where she distinguished herself in the Mock Trial competition, securing national accolades. She has been practicing law in Minnesota for nearly 20 years and has been admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota. Following her graduation, she honed her legal acumen as a judicial law clerk under the tutelage of the Honorable William H. Leary III at the Ramsey County District Court. 

In this capacity, Ms. Bird contributed to a broad spectrum of cases, encompassing criminal and civil commitment proceedings. Her academic journey also includes a Bachelor of Science in international relations and history from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, laying a solid foundation for her legal career.

Before her tenure at Bird, Stevens & Borgen, P.C., Ms. Bird dedicated four years to advocating for individuals with personal injury claims in a reputable Minnesota law firm, focusing on workers' compensation cases. Preceding this role, she honed her knowledge at an insurance agency based in Bloomington, Minnesota, over eight years. Furthermore, she was employed in Washington, D.C., at the National Academy of Sciences, where she was responsible for the coordination and execution of a USAID (United States Agency for International Development)funded grant.

Ms. Bird holds membership with legal organizations such as the Minnesota State Bar Association, the Hennepin County Bar Association and The Douglas K. Amdahl American Inn of Court. Her leadership astuteness was further demonstrated as a former co-chair of the Workers' Compensation Committee within the Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association. Moreover, she has a notable track record of appellate advocacy, having presented and won cases at various appellate courts, including the Minnesota Supreme Court.
