In 2017 and 2018 significant confidential settlements were reached resolving a motorcycle crash resulting in a TBI, and recovering on behalf of workers injured in a gas leak explosion. Other notable recoveries include an award on behalf of children and families who were wrongfully denied mental health benefits and a $350,000 trial verdict for a tenant who was hurt in a slip-and-fall accident.
In 2017 the Minnesota Supreme Court ruled in his favor and reversed a summary judgment on a products liability claim in the case Montemayor v. Sebright. The Montemayor case will likely be a landmark decision in favor of plaintiffs in products liability cases for years to come.
After obtaining his bachelor's degree from Luther College, Mr. Dahlberg earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Minnesota Law School in 1992. He gained admittance to practice in Minnesota the same year. Mr. Dahlberg is licensed to practice law before the Wisconsin Supreme Court; the U.S. District Courts for the Districts of Minnesota and Wisconsin; and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th and 8th Circuits. He managed the local office of Meshbesher & Spence for 15 years before forming his law firm in 2009.
