Abigail Lang

Abigail Lang is an associate attorney at Jaspers, Moriarty & Wetherille, P.A., in Shakopee, Minnesota, where she concentrates her practice on family law, divorce proceedings, estate planning and probate matters. From her earliest days in law school, she demonstrated a profound dedication to client advocacy and courtroom performance. 

Ms. Lang honed these skills through participation in Moot Court and Trial Advocacy courses at the University of St. Thomas School of Law, experiences that ignited her passion for persuasive oral argument and strategic legal analysis. 

Upon completing her Juris Doctor, Ms. Lang continued to build on these foundations by assuming a law clerk position at Jaspers, Moriarty & Wetherille, P.A., during her first year of law school. Over the next two years, she immersed herself in the firm’s diverse caseload, gaining firsthand exposure to general civil litigation, guardianship proceedings and complex probate administration. 

Impressed by Ms. Lang’s analytical acumen and commitment to client service, the firm extended her an offer to join as an associate attorney upon her admission to the Minnesota State Bar Association. In her current role, she approaches each matter with meticulous attention to detail and an unwavering focus on achieving pragmatic solutions for her clients. 

Ms. Lang has developed particular competence in navigating the emotional and legal complexities of family law disputes, guiding individuals through divorce negotiations, custody determinations and estate planning with compassion and professionalism. Her probate work involves coordinating estate inventories, preparing fiduciary accountings, and advocating for the interests of personal representatives and beneficiaries.

Prior to her law studies, Ms. Lang holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Saint Louis University, a background that deepens her understanding of client needs and interpersonal dynamics. Since relocating to the Twin Cities for law school, she has embraced the region’s spirit and remains committed to fostering its well-being through both her legal practice and civic engagement.

Outside of her professional responsibilities, Ms. Lang is an active volunteer in the local community and looks forward to contributing her time and talents across Minnesota organizations that support families and children.
